My professional background is in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, and Wedding Planning. Threw you with that last one didn’t I? #JLO. As a Friend of the Kansas City Library and leader for the Rosedale Development Association, I am a passionate advocate of my local community, a worker for social justice, and a supporter of everyone having access to the books and resources to improve their lives. I have a Bachelor’s in Communication and regularly attend workshops and classes to improve my writing skills. I am an amateur cyanotypist and currently teaching myself to illustrate. So far I find myself drawn (GET IT?!) to insects and mice in paintings and botany for cyanotype prints. Hopefully if you are reading this you like jazzy mice, shiny beetles and cool plants.
