In the words of Mr. Darcy, “I love, I love, I love Tiny Bean”. Pretty sure that’s a direct quote from him. I guarantee you will love Tiny Bean. And Grandma, too!
Bean and Grandma can’t decide what story to tell, so they will tell you eleven. Yes! There are eleven very short stories in this book. Most aren’t more than four pages. Each is as soft and soothing as you’d expect from a tiny bean. Grandma is always helpful, whether it’s time to turn Bean’s blanket into a neckerchief or cutting a hole in the box Bean is turning into a spaceship. And Bean has a fantastic imagination that should inspire lots of little minds. Bean’s Bad Mood was hands down the best story, followed closely by Bean’s BOOs. It’s so hard not to give away the endings. Just read this book!
Bits and Pieces: The artwork in this book was drawn on an iPad using Adobe Fresco and then colored in Photoshop while snacking on giant strawberries
Not Sure About: I’m completely sure this book will charm you to pieces.
Favorite Part: I liked that Bean’s hair was wavy on top. You don’t always see an expressive hairdo on a hedgehog, and Stephanie nailed it here. I loved it when Bean loses her bad mood in the meadow but vows it’ll be back tomorrow. There, I spoiled it. I couldn’t help it. Gaaaaah, I love Tiny Bean. Also, Grandma is reading a book titled Mystery at Frog Lane. Someone, please write that book immediately.
